So this issue started yesterday when I received a message on my alternate number (not connected to Maya, though it was previously before I switched), saying that I applied for a pre-assessment to Maya Black. I also did receive a notification in the Maya app (connected to my main number, not my alternate) saying this.

Well, as far as I know, that involves filling up a form. And I am 100% certain that I didn't fill up any form, nor do I have any interest in applying for a credit card, regardless of which banking institution. And wala rin akong na-encounter na mga personnel offering credit cards since hindi rin ako lumalabas ng bahay.

Well, since I am not aware of any credit card application that I opted in for, syempre worried din ako na baka nacompromise na ang account ko. So of course I reached out to them via chat (after changing my password).

I know that the message instructed me to call, but now knowing how hostile they are towards their customers, the only number that they have is a landline number. Aside from businesses, WHO THE FUCK STILL HAS A LANDLINE IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2026???? Well, maybe some do, but I'm just saying that accessibility is important.

So I reached out to them via chat. Told them the issue. Told them what needs to happen (which is to have the pre-assessment application canceled). The screenshots shows what happened in our conversation. Sinabi nilang promotional message lang yun, despite the tone of certainty sa message na sinend nila. I don't even think na chineck nila kung may application sa account ko. They responded saying that as long as I didn't fill up any form then there will be no issue. So I told them what if someone else opted in using my name. Syempre kabado gago ako eh about that possibility.

Dun na wala na silang masagot na maayos. So I asked for a supervisor. Pero, not saying it's a deliberate action on their end, I can't prove that, pero ang weird lang na hindi na ako makapagsend ng message, and never once ako nawalan ng connection. Soooo 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Hayyyst. Hintayin ko na lang matapos tong time deposit ko dito sa Maya then I'll move all my funds away from them.

PS. Not included in the screenshots are the many tries to contact their chat support, PERO PUTANGINA NG CHAT AI NILA. PUTANGINA TALAGA. SECURITY ISSUE PERO CHAT AI MAGSU-"SUPPORT" SA IYO? MGA GAGO

This is how awful Maya Customer Support is ‼️‼️
