detained from mid sem,no make up exam??

hey guys

im in 2nd yr rn and due to some medical issue i got detained from mid sem exams i talked to my coordinators and mentors abt makeup exams but they saying it prob wont happen for detainees im kinda stressed rn has this happened to anyone before?? did the clg actually not take the makeup exam? also if i miss mid sem how bad will it affect my cgpa 😭
