What is the ideal perfume spray?

Keep seeing videos saying you have to put 5+ spray for each pulse points, 1-3 spray on chest only, spraying a lot on air and gas chamber yourself, and I am lost on what to do with perfume. Would like when someone can notice the scent but not too much to point it harass their nostrils.
