Am I too late to pursue?
I'm 21 years old Korean.
I went to American high school and went to top70.? university for 2 years but with gap semesters, I actually attended 2 semesters total. I completely messed up first semester, tried to make up on the second semester but still my credit and GPA aint good. Eventually had to leave the school for personal circumstances.
I learned lots of things in these years that I couldn't see previously. I want to gather myself and move forward.
Now, I'm in Europe, taking undergraudate for 'business management and AI'. I'm graduating in next 3 years.
Here's my Plan A:
-
3 year of university
- If I successfully follow my plan, will graduate with dual degree from another university in Europe.
- Furthermore, during summer, I'm planning to do internships for Industrial AI firms in Korea. Even if its unpaid. I want to optimize my path as much as possible.
- This firm is a industrial AI company that builds and deploys Ai solutions specialized for manufactoring and industrial and moreover military.
-
As a Korea, I have to do mandatory military service. However, I'm planning to achieve bigdata and other certification (Industrial technician). This will allow me to substitute military service as an industrial technical officer.
- Which I'm thinking to apply the same firm which I plan to do internship.
-
After service, I want to pursue a full-time MBA back in US.
-
Post-MBA, I'm aim for consulting or corporate strategy or executive roles.
I know that I'm already somewhat behind and that this plan might be far-fatched. However, I want to set a goal for myself to motivate and move forward.
I would really appreciate any advice or feedback on whether this plan makes sense and more importantly, on what I should focus on. To make this path effective and realistic.
