Just wanted to hop on here and share some of my experience crafting spell oils, along with a few of my personal recipes.

Most of the oils I make are single-herb oils, inspired by Stassi from Moonlightnsage. Since I currently live in SEA, I don’t have much access to pre-made spell oils, so I decided to start making them myself. One method that really helped me build a deeper connection with herbs is working with single-herb spell oils. Herbs often carry a wide range of properties, and by working with them individually, I can really feel and understand their unique characteristics.

I definitely recommend trying this approach. Single-herb oils are simple to make and can be incredibly beneficial. For example, I’ve been loving the combination of passionflower and catnip lately as both of them help me fall asleep faster while also creating a feeling of calmness and lightness.

After working with these oils for a while, I start to notice which properties of each herb stand out the most for me and which ones have the strongest effect in certain situations. That helps me classify them better and use them more intentionally in specific spells.

As for the personal recipes I’m sharing, these are blends I’ve tested for quite some time and found to work really well for particular intentions. I won’t be sharing the sigils I use as I highly recommend creating your own so the oil feels more personal and connected to your energy. And ofc, feel free to adjust or change the ingredients based on what resonates most with you.

💗 Self love oil

Intention:

Supports beauty, self-love, self-pampering, emotional healing, feminine energy and being deeply cared for. Helps you receive with softness, sweetness, and indulgent luxury.

Energy: the energy of this oil is mostly sweet, girly, nostalgic, healing, self forgiveness and nurturing one self.

Herbs:

Strawberry or Strawberry Leaf - for sweetness, beauty, softness, and self love; a reminder for the worthiness of care, devotion and gentle affection.

Rose

for opening the heart with grace, invite in softness, feminine energy and return to our own worth; bring in the feeling of beautiful and cherished in every layer of who we are; healing old wounds.

Thyme

for bringing in strength, clarity and wellness; support healing, invite long-lasting abundance.

Vanilla

for sweetening and softening the aura; bring in warmth, indulgence, and ease into our lives; receive love, care and sweetness without guilt or effort.

Scent profile: I normally use Strawberry essential oil to scent this

Crystals : Rose quartz + Pink Opal

🍀Mercury Spell Oil

Intention: to help bring in that mercurial energy - help with communication both incoming and outgoing, bring in mental clarity, retain information, wisdom, focus, intelligence, memory, business transactions, negotiations, clear and logical speaking, sharpen mind, improve writing skills, safe travels, academic success, open channels of opportunity,  removing blockages in information flow, refresh the mind, add swiftness energy, ease stress and anxiety in all matters related to Mercury, support throat chakra

Energy: This blend mostly feels refreshing, bringing clarity and a sense of openness

Herbs:

Lemongrass - clears obstacles, opens channels for opportunities, removes stagnant and residual energy from the user and their space, promote openness and better communication

Dill - calm, ease stress, inner strength, mental clarity, clear communication, tranquility, travel protection, wisdom, knowledge, favorable outcomes in business dealings and negotiations

Lavender - bring in calm, peace energy for the user themselves and in how the user presents themselves to others and how information/news comes to them, mental clarity, raise awareness, bring luck, purification of negative energy, enhance writing skill, healing 

Peppermint - focus, mental clarity, communication, travel, banish negative thoughts, clear mental fog, luck, money, swiftness and speed to all Mercury matters, supports memory and learning, supports throat chakra, draws communication and information toward the user swiftly

Parsley - improve memory, mental clarity, communication, money

Crystal: Lapis + Amethyst

Scent profile: Minty scent
