Which grass seed?

We are trying to fix our grass up a little this year, we got the Scott’s 4 step program with seeding. We want to overseed our lawn, and are wondering what seed would be best. We have 2 dogs who run on our lawn constantly tearing up the grass, so hopefully something a little more hardy. We are located in Michigan and want to seed in spring. Which seed do you recommend?
