Resignation while on training
Hi everyone. I just need some advice.
A few weeks ago, I was included in a redeployment and got transferred to a different project. I’m currently still in training for this new role. However, after some time and a lot of thinking, I realized that this project might not really be aligned with me. For some reason, it’s already starting to cause burnout, which I honestly didn’t experience in my previous project.
Because of this, I’ve been thinking about resigning. The problem is, I’m not sure how the process works in this situation.
Is it okay to resign even if the training is still ongoing? Who should I talk to first—my trainer, my supervisor, or HR? Also, would I still be required to render notice?
Would really appreciate any advice or if someone has experienced something similar. Thanks!
