Utility Pole Install

We recently were gifted my great grandparents little 10 acres with an old farmhouse - the house will be demolished. We have cleared a small area about 300 yards away from the old house, power, septic, etc. Our intention is to have a camper setup on the property for now; my question is, what will the power company do and what is my responsibility from there? Will they just install the utility pole, then my Dad (electrician) will have to run service from pole and install breaker box?
