New/Old Player getting discouraged - What Do I Do?
Hey. I've invested a long time ago into the Star Citizen, but only recently got a machine that actually is able to handle the game BUT.
I am getting discouraged. The UI is not intuitive, the suggested key combinations to use in the ship are very rarely useful. The missions are way too difficult. The game is not really friendly and even the intro quest is not very "handholding".
I spend better of 4 hours, just to do a simple delivery quest - pick something from space, fight off enemy, and drop at another location. Crashed my ship thousand times.
Playing around in my inventory - I've lost count how often my equipement got "lost' when I was juggling and figuring out inventory. Basically all my starter mony I've put into getting a multitool and some space suit disappeared.
I had 99% completed a mission and then fell through the textures. Ragequit. Now the mission is not availble even in my tracker.
Entering the Spaceship is not possible quickly - the UI is so random. (Mustang Alpha, bought in 2017).
Am I missing something? It looks like the base of the game is very decent, but... I find it hard to enjoy it, since I need to figure out my way around bugs to even have any scope of decent progress. Saving up for any kind of new ship to get in game seems impossible
