Attendance question for summer classes

I am a junior in highschool and I plan to take Linear algebra this summer at Rutgers, but my school year extends into the course timeframe. So does anyone know what usually are the attendance policies for synchronous courses or In person courses? Can I miss a lot of classes and still be fine or is it different.
