Current rotation of favorites!

My collection has been growing... as you can tell from the photo, I really enjoy SWEET incense, at least at this point (still getting my brain around the Minorien Fu-in..). I've been doing a lot of exploring into Japanese incense, but I am going to start looking into some others. I would say the ones I'm always craving are these:

  • Shoyeido Horin Shirakawa (White River)

  • Shoyeido Horin Horikawa (River Path)

  • Shoyeido Horin Tenypyo (Peaceful Sky)

  • Shoyeido Plum Blossom

  • Shoyeido Shino-Nome (first light), which I believe has been discontinued

  • Shoyeido Kyoto Autumn Leaves

  • Jihi Amacha kou

  • Kunjudo Karin

  • Baikundo Yuzen

  • Satya SuperHit

  • Shoyeido Overtones Vanilla

  • Fred Soll Honey Vanilla

Anxiously awaiting these (arriving this week in the mail):

  • Honey Dust
  • Shroff Amber Boquet
  • Shroff Vanilla Balsam
  • Shroff Divine

On my wishlist:

  • Shoyeido White Cloud
  • Shoyeido Horin Nijo (Avenue of the Villa)
  • Shoyeido Horin Muromachi (City of Culture)
  • Shoyeido Horin Genroko(Returning Spirit)
  • Shoyeido Misho (Gentle Smile)
  • Shoyeido Sei-fu Fresh Breeze
  • Satya Superhit Purple Beauty and others
  • Tennendo Japanese Vanilla
  • Kameyama Milky Candy

Any thoughts on others I should try down the road (or new roads I should take in terms of incense styles)? I became interested in incense through a long and deep history in perfume, where I enjoy (no surprise) a lot of sweeter and more traditionally feminine scents: gourmands, vanilla/benzoin/tonka/amber rich blends, spices (cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, anise, etc.), some fruits (orange, guava, mango, pear), resins, woods, conifers, a few florals (carnation, heliotrope, tuberose, chyrsanthemum, lavender). Thanks for any ideas you might have!
