I still think about my friend from 2nd grade.
When in second grade, I met my best friend, Nicholas. To this day I consider him the bestest friend I've had in my entire life. Like any 2nd grader would do, Nicholas invited me to his home. His mother was so kind to me. I stayed in his room, he allowed me to play on his iPad and Xbox 360, things i could never afford. I had so much fun.
Then I came home to him, my step father, being upset and forbidding me from ever going back to his home. He asked me if I went in his room. If the door was closed. I didn't understand why. I was only 6. I remember trembling when I said "the door was cracked open."
My mom had allowed me to go to his home. She really liked him and didn't understand my step father's reaction. She didn't forbid me to go to his home but I was too scared to ever return anyways. He (my step father) had his brother give me a talk on why it was bad and I didn't understand what I did wrong . Eventually me and Nicholas stopped talking. And even then my mom still talks highly of him.
I miss you nick & I still think of you and titanic, Minecraft, and Minecraft obsession.
To the sleep overs that could've been if my deranged schizo step father didn't sexualize two 6 year olds hanging out ❤️
