So this episode is really quite interesting. We have the evolution of Lois and Clark's relationship through the first 8 episodes. Except, this episode takes place in the memories of Lois that happened BEFORE all of that. It happened in the three weeks she was gone. So, before their first date, first kiss, first outing as a couple at work. And we get that AMAZING line of "Lois, I died when you left." To know that Clark's whole world was destroyed when Lois disappeared? Heart breaking.

He went against Zod, trained on his own, put himself at risk because he couldn't find the woman he loved. And you know he searched the globe for her. The nuances of this episode are endless. Also having the sexiest scene of the whole show doesn't hurt either.
