Is it worth defecting to China?

With the current UK job situation its pretty clear the government have abandoned the peons in favor of appeasing a handful of millionaires. With this in mind im now realising, despite the propaganda on both sides, the UK is equally as bad as China, if not worse.

I've been thinking of defecting for some time, and was wondering if anyone here is from the chinese government. I don't know many state secrets or much mandarin, but i'm a hard worker with a bachelors in political science and two years retail experience.
