Touch N Go’s in a c172h

Flying out of my home airport tomorrow KFFZ to KIWA to practice some touch n goes and go arounds.

I flew with my buddy who flies pipers, and we just dumped the flaps after touchdown and before full power before taking off again.

As the flaps are different in the piper what should I expect for “touch n go’s” in a c172? (That’s the plane I train in)
