Trying to have a career in spite of men

I was laid off two years ago, along with my entire team. But I worked closely with many male colleagues. One of which was a guy who was very high up, who vouched for me. Who even wrote a Linkedin recommendation for me (which I didn't know was a thing as I wasn't so articulate on this kind of career social media).

He withdrew his recommendation when I declined his romantic advances. He's married. He's been married this whole time. The women I worked with were friendly but viperous - they didn't trust and weren't trustworthy. This was all brand new to me having come from a smaller company and then moved into a giant corporation.

It struck me as so odd that a manager, who was high up in the company, who went out of his way to give me glowing reviews on Linkedin - who then deleted his recommendation because I didn't return his romantic advances. But that's the way it seems. But if I were to play the game then I'd be romantic with more men. But I don't want that! But that seems to be the metric?? How do I even re-enter the workforce after this?
