Loud mosque speakers at random times

Let me preface by saying I’m Muslim. But today I was woken up at 8am by the mosque few km away with random prayers (doa).

It wasn’t azan, not actual obligatory prayers, and it was unnecessarily loud. It has never been this loud and intrusive, but all a sudden. I believe it’s completely unnecessary especially being at 8am. Not sure why they’re using the loud speakers for this even.
