Cfmoto papio ss reliability

Hi someday I want to get my motorcycle license and I thought about getting either a papio ss or a grom.

For some context I’m 5,4 and have a 28 inch inseam (29 inch inseam with boots) The big problem I always hear from people is that the reliability is bad but then I see some people that own Cfmoto bikes say that it’s manageable or that it’s a little annoying to fix them. If I do buy a bike I don’t plan on riding every day or anything like that I just want to ride a bike occasionally.

A big reason I want a papio ss is just because the look of it and I’m not really the biggest fan of the look of the grom. I know the biggest reason people chose a grom over a papio is that Honda is more of a known brand , so people trust older companies because they have been around longer to improve their reliability over the years.

Also my brother in law and his 2 other brothers have a long history of the mechanical aspect of dirt, naked and sport / super bikes, and they regularly fix their bikes or buy used bike and fix them to sell them.
