PCP said something concerning

To preface, I'm on Medicaid and I'm aware of the USA state of medicaid right now but I didn't think that Californias hospitals were gonna completely stop doing bottom and top surgeries for transgender people on medicaid. For context I asked my doctor for a referral for a surgery and she said that she will forward it to the department that handles referrals (?) and that I should be aware most hospitals aren't doing them/are stopping because of the administration. I don't know how true this is to those in cali and on medicaid are you able to get your SRS done?
