asking for advice

so hello guys i just recently bought an omen 16 and in order to preserve battery life the most i tried to go to the bios and turn on health manager on and is not at 80% const and i wonder will always keeping it plugged in will dmg the battery or will the power go straight from the adapter to the pc it self without touching the battery this is what is showing me on the battery icon
