Are Kled abilities supossed to reveal champions?

Hi,

I recently played a game as Teemo against a Kled and encountered something confusing. When Kled hit me with his Q or E while I was invisible (from my passive), it revealed me. However, Kled didn't gain true sight of me, and no debuff or effect appeared on either of us. I've read Kled's abilities, and they don't mention anything about revealing invisible enemies. Is this a bug or an intended mechanic?
