First of all, as a kid my parents threw me in therapy ages 5 through currently, and jacked me up on medication when I was 8. My mom was the worse than my dad. She didn’t want to take care of me or listen to me so she hired other people to do it. She would make me stop seeing therapists who took my side and called her out. Shed lock me in my room for hours, and take away my stuffed animals. She doesn’t respect any of my boundaries but expects me to respect hers. When I succeed she acts like she’s the hero and takes credit for it, for example she convinced the people in charge of this fundraiser that she and my dad give a speech for my one year of sobriety instead of me. When I try to call her out on it she either denies everything, says it’s my drug addiction talking, or saying something like “Oh I’m just the worst mom ever I bet you hate me I could die tomorrow (she has cancer).” She also makes me see my cousin who SA me and when it happened she said “no matter what the truth is I’ll always love you.” I started self harming when I was 10 so she would pay attention to me but she said I was just doing it for attention and brushed it off then put me back in therapy. She puts up an act around therapists and my friends so no one ever believes me. She even treats my sister with love and listens to her and compares me to her, so not even my sister believes me. She would go through my room and phone all the time and threw away my adult toys when I was 16 and shamed me. She also shamed me when she found out I was sexually active and say I was attention seeking for not wearing a bra and wouldn’t let me leave the house without one, despite me vocalizing they give me sensory issues. She grew up with a bipolar mom and was out of control, but now she has a bipolar daughter and tries to control me. I can’t remember a time where she’s apologized to me because she doesn’t recognize she’s wrong. I’m 19 now but still financially rely on them and she says if I don’t keep in contact she’ll stop paying for everything.
