Quiet(er) Bars on Friday

I know most people ask for the cool spots for a Friday night but just had a rough week, and I don’t want to stay holed up inside my apartment. Definitely not going for bar hopping etc, but if there are some quiet(er) bars on Friday with good enough lighting, where I can sit in the corner, get a drink and read for a couple of hours, I’d love to do that. Any recommendations/ideas?
