Local snacks, bread, candy and arts and crafts in Carvoeiro

Hello,

We are visiting Carvoeiro and Lisbon from Canada for a week and looking for some recommendations for some Portuguese food we can’t get at home. I have a list of some of the top Portuguese foods (egg tarts, Bacalhau, Bifanas, Grilled Sardinhas, Polvo A Lagareiro, Porco Preto…) and we have dinner plans at local restaurants, so we hope to cross of them off the list.

I am looking for desserts, bread, junk food, candy, pop, healthy or unhealthy, small local brands or national favourites, safe foods or adventurous. I want to try it all.

Also is the area know for an any arts and crafts? We are looking for something meaningful and local.

Thanks a lot We are really excited for the adventure.
