Affidavit of support

My husband just got approved for his 100% VA disability P&T, can we list this as his income? I’m reading some cases in other groups that they are getting RFEs because VA disability pension is non taxable. I searched Google and it says that we don’t need a taxable income cuz we are above a 125% poverty guidelines, this gives me anxiety. Anyone who got approved without an RFE? Or with RFE, what did you submit or did for it to be approve?
