I Don’t Understand Rook

Loving this game so far! Can somebody please explain Rook to me? I don’t understand it at all. Are you invisible to UESC? Or can you just blend in with the ability? And what is with the kit you load in with?

I see people on the sub talk about Rook often, but I just don’t understand when or why you would run it in game.

Thanks!
