OpenClaw Mission Control (Docker) cannot reach Gateway running in WSL – port 37484 unreachable
I’m trying to run OpenClaw + Mission Control on a Windows machine using WSL + Docker, but Mission Control cannot reach the gateway.
My setup looks like this:
Windows
└ WSL (Ubuntu)
├ OpenClaw Gateway → 127.0.0.1:37484
└ Docker
└ Mission Control container → port 3000
Mission Control UI runs fine:
But the gateway always shows Offline.

What I confirmed
Gateway is running:
Listening on 127.0.0.1:37484
When trying to access the port it does not see it
Question
What is the correct way for a Docker container running in WSL to reach a service running on the WSL host?
Should the OpenClaw gateway be:
1. bound to 0.0.0.0
2. run inside Docker
3. accessed via host.docker.internal
4. accessed via the WSL gateway IP (172.x.x.x)
Curious how others are running Mission Control + OpenClaw on WSL.
