Can I have red wine with hypertension?

Female age 29, 290 pounds (on a weight loss journey) I recently discovered I have high blood pressure and currently on medication. I RARELY ever drink (maybe twice a year) but it is my brothers wedding next week and I so want to have a few glasses of wine. I completely forgot to ask this question at the Doctor’s office the other day so I thought I would try here lol.
