People who pretend to have disabilities are actually evil.
I have DID. A few years ago, most of you wouldn't know what that is. Because only 1 percent of people in the world have it, and less still actually exhibit symptoms. But now, suddenly half the internet has it. Because it's "trendy". And it pisses me off so fucking much. DID isn't just some "Oh I'm so weird and quirky", it's a disability that can and will genuinely fuck up your life, and is usually triggered by horrific childhood trauma.
In my opinion, if you pretend to have DID [or really any disability, DID is just close to me obviously], it makes you a genuinely terrible person. I don't care if you just want attention, or if you want companionship, or what the excuse is. You are actively making people take this disability less seriously, and in some cases actually taking resources away from people who really need them. That makes you a bad person.
