I hate Meredith!

I can not wrap my head around this show. I’ve watched every episode up until last month. I have to vent I think Meredith is a raging narcissist dressed in a pretty brainy package representing who Shonda wishes she was.

Meredith’s character is the top character of the show. I get it! However, the way her character is so self absorbed and unaware is infuriating. Who in normal society would care about her or even want to be her friend other than to ride her coattails? She’s mean, self absorbed and whiney. So your mom was brilliant and treated you bad, had dementia. Welcome to life girl. It’s her whole personality. She acts like she loves her co-workers and friends but she doesn’t. Every story line is “woe me” for what I was raised with. Who in real life would accept this person into their life. It’s a constant battle of endlessly encouraging her so they get minuscule attention from her.

At least Christinas character is up front and directly admits she’s not warm and cuddly, I respect the awareness.

I’m over how we as fans or viewers are expected to keep following Mer because it’s her “story”.

If I treated anyone like this I wouldn’t expect them to show up for me even for a tiny favor. I absolutely hate her character.
