Bad juju with family name

We have a unique family name that I’d like to consider for my future child, most likely a middle name. I honestly think it’s pretty cool and the fact that it’s a family name, makes me more comfortable/justified using it (if it wasn’t, I’d say it sounds a little trendy, though not on any top charts).

However, two of the three people in my family with the middle name had mental health issues and committed suicide. Would you still consider using it or is it bad juju? I don’t want to feel like I “cursed” my child with the name, but also don’t want to pass over a potentially cool name being paranoid.
