tips on how to grow as a trader

hello everybody ,
i started trading two months ago and i'm down 1200 dollars .
i've been paper trading for like a year and was always profitable but the second i switched to real everything went south , i keep making silly mistakes like entering before checking the lotsize and getting liquidated and stressing way too much on a trade that i end up closing early
any one got any advice on how to actually improve your psychology and actually start being a profitable trader ?
i'm a scalper btw and i'm using a really simple strategy
