Where would you move if cost of living wasn’t the only factor?
When people talk about relocating, the conversation usually focuses on cost of living or salary differences.
But the more I’ve looked into it, the more I realized there are a lot of other factors that can completely change the outcome of a move.
Things like:
• taxes
• visa feasibility
• healthcare access
• long-term financial sustainability
• safety and stability
• job opportunities
• how long it takes to gain residency or citizenship
Two places might look similar on the surface, but once you factor in those variables the long-term outcome can be completely different.
For people here who have moved or are thinking about relocating:
What factors mattered the most in your decision?
Was it cost of living, lifestyle, taxes, visa options, or something else?
I’m curious what people prioritize when deciding where to move.
