Question about Dropsite Massacre (novel) as a Raven Guard fan

I have Just finished the first Scouring book and am looking for a new book. I just wanted some feedback from anyone who has read the new Dropsite Massacre novel. As a RG fan is it worth a read? Are my boys just punching bags for the whole book? I always want to read any RG BL book but I’m just worried this book will just make me sad. Do my boys at least have some badass moments?
