D.C.’s Highest Court Strikes Down Magazine Ban: What It Could Mean for Colorado

General News

Something I've been working on for a few days about the DC magazine ruling...kind of interesting.

---

Washington D.C.’s highest court just ruled that the district’s magazine ban violates the Second Amendment.

The court applied the Bruen framework and said the government couldn’t show a historical tradition for banning commonly owned magazines. It's a very good ruling.

That decision could add pressure to the U.S. Supreme Court because it created a split circuit on magazines.

But what's that mean for Colorado?

Here’s a breakdown of the case and why it matters: https://wethesecondcolorado.com/dcs-highest-court-strikes-down-magazine-ban-and-what-it-could-mean-for-colorado/
