Started using OpenClaw few weeks ago, still some things do not work for me.

I completely understand the hype behind this project, when done correctly it can have awesome functions, agents working together and a lot of your work can be automated. I have just started few weeks ago and I would really appreciate if some of you more experienced folks would be able to answer or help me with my questions.

1. I feel like my agent doesn't really remember anything, can this be a memory misconfiguration? For example, if i ask my agent to do something, like "Can you draft me this email", or can you code this feature for me. He starts working and gives me the answer and tells me to copy paste it. I told him multiple times that he should remember, that he should execute things automatically, don't make me do things myself, if he has access.

2. I am actually working for innovations team in tech industry and we want to be monitoring emerging trends in AI and other areas. My first setup was a cron job with a full prompt, this was working kind of nicely, but because the prompt was very long, and i have stated at the end that it should use gog to make a draft in my email. Sometimes it got truncated and nothing happened. Also I wanted to leverage an agent for this, as he would be able to better learn what kind of topics interest me, but when i created this agent and added his role in the prompt. Then i have created a cron for this agent to run a morning briefing, he told me about general news completely ignoring his SOUL.md. Then i tried to refine him in the cron job, change the output style, but with next runs, nothing changed.
