Help me out with tape dates and current events

This evening, March 13, 2026, an episode aired in which the Final clue sought Jesse Jackson as the response. When one of the three responses was revealed to be correct, Ken Jennings said something like "that's correct, the late Jesse Jackson."

I was caught quite by surprise, as Jesse Jackson only died less than a month ago on February 17. This seems like an extremely short turnaround from taping to airing, which I believe (based on various Internet sources) to be about six weeks apart typically. February 17 to March 13 is a turnaround of only about three and a half weeks.

Do we have some way of pinning down accurately the taping date of the episode aired on March 13? Is there any possibility they may have had Ken overdub a quick "late" to be patched into original audio at some point after taping but before airing?
