New player difficulty compared to X3?
I played a bit of X3 (under a hundred hours) and while it seemed really cool, I kept running into problems where the game's basic systems were... not really explained all that well in game, which led to a lot of frustration.
Stuff like buying a trader and getting them set up, only for them to die very quickly to pirates in anything but the absolute safest of zones. Or setting up a factory station only to find that some of the parts you need are being bought up by someone else, so you can't actually make anything. Or the combat missions being way too difficult to win, either due to not knowing how to pilot well enough or the ship being not good enough, with no clear indication of what the problem was.
Does this game still have similar tutorialization/learning curve issues? I'm not even thinking of having huge fleets or anything, more just like, having a trader that works, or a station that doesn't exist just to lose money. Basic levels of stuff. Does the game still kind of need a bunch of YouTube videos and wiki pages to get into, or is the early game explained well enough that the Endless Spreadsheets can wait until a bit later?
