Advice on ACAS Conciliation

Hello everyone

I have recently lodged an ET1 on my old employer for disability discrimination. I am currently going through ACAS conciliation in terms of putting an offer on the table for my old employer, but I am finding it difficult on whether my conciliator is being helpful or dismissive on my claim. They have told me blankly that some of my evidence would not be allowed to be admitted to the tribunal (such as recordings of a meeting I was in that shows the lack of impartiality/harms the defences credibility on claims they may make) or even transcribed.

I was strongly suggested that I should re-evaluate my first offer before sending it and asked me if they could say that the claimant may accept offers up to 50% less. I feel really put off by the whole process, considering the conciliator has seen none of my evidence for my claims and bases their guidance off the ‘median’ amount disability claims get and constantly mentions the 140 successful claims. Is this normal for a conciliation talk, or should I try and frame it to them that I am getting stressed by feeling undermined on my case by them?
