Tired of AI hype with no actionable steps? Built a tool that gives engineers, sales, ops, legal, and execs completely different briefings from the same announcement.
AI tools change constantly. New models, API updates, pricing restructures, deprecations. The noise is overwhelming — when Anthropic ships extended thinking, within 24 hours there are 50 LinkedIn posts saying "this changes everything!" with zero specifics. Nobody answers the actual question: what does this mean for MY job, and what should I do about it?
What I built:
Changecast — monitors official first-party sources (changelogs, release docs, official blogs — no hype aggregation) across 21+ AI vendors and generates role-specific briefings with actionable steps from each announcement.
Same announcement. Completely different briefings for every role.
Here's what that actually looks like. Take Anthropic releasing extended thinking:
If you're a Product Manager (NOTABLE)
If you're a General Counsel (NOTABLE)
If you're an Engineer (NOTABLE)
If you're in RevOps (BREAKING)
Same announcement. Four completely different briefings with actionable steps tailored to what each role actually needs to do.
What's under the hood:
- 17 industry/role groups, 21+ AI companies tracked (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Cursor, Salesforce, and more)
- Official sources only — changelogs, release docs, GitHub releases. No recycled Twitter threads.
- Free tier available, no credit card
Where I'm at:
Early but working. Real data, first users. Trying to validate whether the role-personalized "actionable steps" framing is genuinely useful vs. just clever.
Honest questions:
- Does seeing the same announcement through 4 different lenses make the value click for you?
- Would you use this individually, or does it only make sense as a team/company purchase?
- What would make you actually open it every morning?
Happy to talk architecture, extraction pipeline, or pricing model.
