Miles Episode 4

Rewatching episode 4 “Rose” and it strikes me as very odd that Miles felt comfortable sandwiching Shane on the dance floor and kissing his neck. Although Rose and Shane’s relationship was very new, it seems weird Miles would “shoot his shot” without any indication from Shane or Rose that it was welcome. Miles and Rose are friends so it feels very disrespectful he did that unless they talked about it in advance. We’ll never know because it’s not in be book. The way Shane immediately left could have given Miles the impression he was uncomfortable rather than feeling heartbroken over Ilya. Something about that scene has always felt very off. Curious what others think.
