Router recommendation after defective UD7?
I bought a Dream Router 7 a couple months ago and it worked fine at first, but then it started dropping connection. It would work again after I restarted until a couple days ago. Now it just stuck rebooting and I have not been able to connect since.
Ubiquiti support wasn't much help and could only suggest rebooting or factory reset, which didn't work. I was approved for RMA and will get a credit at Microcenter where I bought it.
I'm just wondering if this is a rare case and I should just replace it with the same model or buy a different router. I've never had a router fail so quickly. I liked it when it was working, but would not rather not go through this ordeal again in a few months.
I live in a 2 story rowhouse, 3 bedrooms, about 1200 sq ft. drywall construction. Have Fios internet. 3 users, gaming and streaming simultaneously. I'm limited to what routers Microcenter sells, budget is around $300. Looking for something easy to setup.
