Should we do a cheaper hotel next week?

Well, we’re arriving Monday. Booked at Sheraton Waikiki Beach and it looks amazing. But now I’m questioning if we need that much hotel if the beach will be a no go from brown water. Frankly the pools could be closed too, which was a huge selling point.

Other hotels in the area (like, RIGHT THERE) are almost $1200 cheaper for the same week. Outrigger is one of them, legit behind the Sheraton.

Would you keep the bougie hotel or save the cash if the beach is no longer an option/priority?
