APWU contract question.

I’m a SSDA (Window Clerk) at a ln installation that doesn’t have a Union Rep or Steward so I’m struggling to get info and answers concerning Light Duty and Limited Duty work. I’m hoping some advice or assistance can be found in here before I go further with some surgery. The LMOU, from my understanding, hasn’t been amended or updated since 2018 and the language in it concerning Article 13 states that the LMOU follows the National Contract. Does that mean my Postmaster must accommodate injured or recovering employees with temporary light/limited duty work restrictions? Can an employee work temporarily in another office as they recover from surgery if their Postmaster doesn’t have work for them and if the other office is in need of a PTF? I need surgery for an old fall but I’m being told that my current installation does not accommodate for restricted duty/light duty/limited duty.
