The high price Cabo San Lucas

I don’t know what others think about Cabo, but I’ve been there 3 times now and every time I leave I feel like I’ve been taken to the cleaners. I just recently returned and realized the drinks in downtown Waikīkī are cheaper than the drinks in Cabo. So the most expensive place to live in the us has cheaper drinks. Anyone else feel this place is just a money grab?
