I am pretending to be dumb but if procreation is of such importance in evolution why does it seem for humans most like 95 percent of their time is not spent procreating?

Like Newton according to some sources he was celibate? People when their lives and time are free may try to go travelling or fly to the moon or just stroll about or watch TV instead of procreating?
