Ideas for using 1000+ small clear plastic sheets???

My work is changing how we label shelves and this comes with no longer needing a LOT of 3" x 1.25" flat clear plastic rectangles. They aren't no. 6 plastic so my shrinky dink idea is gone, and that was my only one. I'd just feel really bad if so much (potentially useful?) plastic would end up in a landfill. Any ideas, or have they served their purpose already?
