Show cause to allow me to continue uni, help

I had a placement break down last year at no fault of my own (was bullied and blackmailed by the company and forced to quit).

To be able to continue my studdies I am required to write a show cause essay and then sit an interview with the uni social work placement director who will decide it I am allowed to continue uni.

As anyone done this before? I would love some advice.

Feeling really stressed out writing the essay.
