Performance issues might kill the game at this point
Marathon dev team just released a tweet about the game being optimized for low and mid end PC. And focusing on high end pc after that.
I would like to know your feelings about these fps issues.
I dont know about you, but i've seen COUNTLESS amount of complaint about in game peformances on a wiiiide range from low to mid high tier config, on a lot of different setups.
I'm not saying its the norm, people that have issues will complain about them. I'm aware. But it reached a point for me, and probably other where i just cant play 3 hours in a row because stutter just make my head hurts at some point.
And i think its pretty damn unrealistic to release a modern competitive fps that caps at 55 to 70 frame p/s for a lot of people, even dropping down to 40 frame p/s in a modern era of 144hz screen being the norm with competitive player.
Because why would i try everything possible to optimize myself the game, to drop to 45 fps in the middle of dire mash while i could start apex legends and turn on 300+ frame p/s even in the worst gunfight ever?
And trust me when i say this, I LOVE THE GAME, i want to play it more than an hour a day, but i cant because the experience is almost painful sometimes.
Maybe im wrong, but i dont feel like a 2070 super with an amd 7 should struggle that much, and neither do i think any config over the official recommandations should struggle.
Do you guys config struggle, does it bother you, does it make you quit the game after some pretty average long sessions, and dont you feel a bit overwhelmed sometimes by the issues in an already overwhelming game?
