I am putting together a good sized (about 4' x 4' area, more of a fat "T" than a rectangle though) Space Hulk board for a game night.

The first three pics are the prototype catwalks I finished designing and printing today. I wanted multi-level combat without actually stacking terrain and this was the result.

There are 4 walk-able pieces: a standard straight piece, one that fits in a 1Corner area (Aggressor is on this one), and two more that mirror each other for turning around corners in rooms (Eliminator and Deathwatch). The walkways are connected to back plates that friction-fit into sockets in the walls. They connect to the back plates with pegs and there are also supports underneath. Testing is showing them to be stable- I put a metal Warg Chieftain on them and there was no give or twist. The only issue is if I get a back plate that is on the smaller end of the FDM tolerance and a wall socket that is on the wider end- a heavy model will cause some slippage. However, switching out walls has always solved this problem. There are also back plates that allow stairs to peg in so players know where to go up and down.

The last picture is about half of the build for the derelict Eldar vessel absorbed into the Hulk. Haven't decided which Craftworld colors to go with yet. I have pieces of the Mechanicum, Astra Militarum, and Luna Wolves vessels that are part of the Hulk printed, but nothing substantial as of now. I'll show more as things progress!

I'm pumped for this one and can't wait to have it all printed and start painting!
